Wanting something is great. Nowt wrong with shooting for the stars (cliche alert). I'm all for it. I was hoping for a "statement" win today, 5 or 6 goal margin. It wasn't to be. Sometimes, we have to settle for less than perfection. As in life. This seems to be one of those seasons.

I was disappointed too, but we were visibly coasting in the second half, with a mind to what's coming on Wednesday.

It’s not that we had a makeshift left back, we simply didn’t bother with one.

It's how you play the 3 that matters. When we play a back 4 it's really a 3 anyhow. Against arsenal you just tell the back 3 to hold their line and make sure walker and Eric don't go wandering forward.

We get dicked on the break because our defenders especially the fullbacks get caught up the pitch.

What was the crowd like? Was the atmosphere as good as we hoped as a come back to the hateful 9? I hope we were noisy all the way through.

Why slagging off second half performance?

No need full throthle 90 minutes, there's much important games on wednesday so it's understandable player likes to converse energy having already leads three goal.

The sloppy passing and loss of concentration was the problem. Caused us to expend more energy than necessary.

The score could have been 6-3 today.
I think the worrying thing about us this season is that even when we are playing well quite often we are not clinical enough.
At times we look complacent.
It gives teams s sniff and better teams punish us on very few chances.

However, this week had been difficult for everyone concerned with the club and today’s response was good and will put doubt in Arsenal’s minds.
Just need to hammer the message home midweek.
