Enjoyed this one from resident clueless ESPN rag Mark Ogden:

Player review

BEST: William Saliba -- The Arsenal defender controlled Erling Haaland comfortably with his strength, pace and reading of the game.

For sure. If you ignore Haaland winning a penalty, a hockey assist for our 2nd goal and scoring our 3rd goal he totally had him in his pocket.
That’s so fucked up, surely it isn’t only City fans, but any neutrals who watched the match must see Ogden’s comment for the utter nonsense it is?

Meanwhile over at the Guardian, a raging Ronay has now tagged in a fuming Jonathan Wilson for his turn to have a pop.
His hot take? It’s all the queen’s fault for dying when arsenal were in better form.
Oh yes and they can’t compete financially…
God, it's pitiful.

To be fair, I did pass the same comment (about the rearranged timing being fortunate) to my young lad last night.
There's no doubt Arsenal were in better form back then and we are playing better now.

The rest of his article is misty-eyed wistfulness. A grown man pining for a world that never was. His claims of financial disparity being particularly embarrassing for him, considering Arsenal's net spend v City in recent years.

It was just for advising the club how players should interact with referees. Seems ok to me...
Cheating Barstools!
Even they try to defend themselves when it looks likely they did bribe compared to us who don't defend when it's unlikely we did anything wrong at all; "The club has also issued a warning saying they are ready to take legal action against those seeking to damage Barcelona's reputation."
T
he article underneath that link also suggests PSG are ready to take on Pep when he leaves soon due to our "Scandal" so he can be re-united with Messi.
Messi will be in a zimmer before King Pep leaves City.

The BBC was once near the pinnacle of factual news/event reporting organisations, reporting events mostly from an unbiased viewpoint and how the events were actually happening,

It is destroying that reputation & integrity it once had at an ever increasing rate and not only in its sport reporting but in its news reporting.

Becoming nothing more than another click bait bunch of fuckwits reporting the news and sports as it wants the world to see it, and not the actual events as they happen, shame really, as it’s public funded it really doesn’t need to do that.

It gets worse...McNulty seems to have edited his earlier report to sound even more bitter.

Reckon he's shacked up with Gunnersaurus.

Some of the words & language used is frightening considering how much exposure the BBC have to the casual audience.

"Arsenal nursed a justifiable grievance after the 1-1 draw with Brentford here on Saturday, Ivan Toney's equaliser the result of incompetence by those running VAR"

Certainly didn't see this language reported when Soucek 'saved' Gallagher's goal bound shot only for VAR to wave it off.

"The self-styled kings of possession under Guardiola only had 36%, their lowest in a league match in his time at the club, but still recorded their most important league win this season without even being at their best"

Can only picture the bitterness in typing this phrase whilst seated in his Paul Merson printed boxers :-)

The underlying derogatory tone of City on his report is palpable.

Well it is true they can't compete financially. They haven't won the league since 2004, rarely if at all been in the top 4, Wembley is an occasional day out and the Champs League is an unknown quantity so they’ve missed out on years of prize money and associated sponsorship money. Really they are just another mid table team who have suprised everybody but most off all, themselves.

Still spent shitloads

You have to laugh.

BT bigging up the Barca v rags game.

The host keeps saying 90 thousand in the stadium but every time the camera cuts to the crowd it’s empty. Truth just doesn’t come into the report.

BBC and Sky is an acronym for united or Liverpool.

Tbh I find it hard to get too bent out of shape about this. The two statements, taken individually are 100% correct. Arsenal were indeed screwed by an incompetent VAR a at the weekend (although they were paid back last night) and we only had 36% ppossession but still managed to win arguably our biggest game of the season and we definitely were not at our best.

I actually don’t mind McNulty. He is maybe a little bit too much Rag leaning but he generally writes sensibly and well.

If you are looking for histile media pundits there are many more deserving candidates than McNulty.

So basically, just Leicester playing in red!

Didnt you know the europe league is now bigger than the champions league.

Feck me, how old is Keegan? can’t be more than five years old writing such infantile fanboy drivel, fûcking pathetic.
I prefer captained by mctominay , led by antonio and still playing at the shit hole with the rapidly rotting roof! Food poisoning freely available from macari's chippy and congested travel along the M40 thrown in!
