Be a nice game to put Phillips in, give Rodri a break. This kind of game should be right up his alley. Let’s see what he’s learned and see if he has figured out how to make the angle for the defender to feed him in the middle, and knows when to drop in to pick up the ball and get an attack rolling.

Be nice to put Phil in LM and give Gundo a rest, too. Let’s see if we can get him back up to some kind of speed, and also get him to feed some early balls in behind for Erling.

Then, if things are going well, get Palmer on for Kev and save some legs for the CL.

Here’s hoping things go that well. After the Herculean efforts on Weds, we CANNOT afford to drop points this weekend.
You’re making it sound like a piece of cake?

Is this the same Forest that beat the scousers in October?

No, not at all.

I’m merely saying that the most reasonable rotation I can see is Foden & Phillips (the weekend subs and England World Cup internationals!) for two players who have run themselves ragged over recent games, plus the chance to give KDB some rest IF we are able to by bringing on Palmer (or even Lewis!).

I don’t think it will be easy, but there’s no reason to believe we cannot win the game and allow some key players a little respite while doing it.

Indeed, I said we had to not drop points after the efforts of Weds night!

We have to go with our fittest and best for the rest of the season. With all the tests players go through these days the management should know if the players have recovered from a previous match.

Tomorrow I want to see a great game from Riyad Mahrez, Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Rodri, Jack Grealish. I also want a crowd that gives everything to push their players to score many goals in the game. And I want at least one penalty
No need to request our away fans to give everything. They turn up every game. Always loud and proud. CTID

You’re kidding, right?

What next, does everyone have to fear Everton now, after they beat Arsenal?!
No you have to treat your opposition with respect anyone can beat anyone else on their day its very ragish to assume a walkover

Think we’ll see changes but I hope nothing too drastic from Pep, it’ll be electric in there today and they’ll be right up for it, has the chance to be a banana skin if he fucks about too much!

I’ll be in Nottingham about 11:30, be good if the lads in the mix can keep the thread up to date with where the majority of City end up!

Ps like the majority of Manchester I’m still after a ticket so if anybody hears of anything, drop me a PM cash ready.

COME ON CITYYYY

I wish Pep got the respect he deserves in here.

Our best ever manager

4 out of the last 5 premier leagues at the most competitive time ever

Speaks up for our club more than any manager or board member ever

Best football ever

He is an absolute genius and like all geniuses he does things that us mere mortals wouldn’t think of. If he gets 2% “wrong” in the views of some it’s because he gets 98% VERY VERY right

We’ve got Guardiola, THANK FUCK
