Nottingham Forest (A) | Post Match Thread

I absolutely despise this culture we've developed where winning fouls is more important than scoring goals. Haaland today is the worst one yet. Wasn't even a foul never mind in the box, and a great chance goes missing. Jack does it several times a game.
Agree and surrounding the ref like we have the last few games…that’s not who we are.

What the fuck do we do on the training ground.
Our decision making in the final third, set pieces and finishing are embarrassing given the technical players we have.

All we have to do is give the opposition 1 shot on target to score a goal and those chances we missed today were criminal, they were sitters.

Got fortunate with the chances Arsenal missed in midweek and i still think Top 4 and CL qualification is what we can expect this season, we are dropping far too many points and have too many issues in the team to win the PL or CL.

Team is far too slow, squad unbalanced and not clinical enough. Big turnover of players is needed this summer to keep us competitive next season.

2 points thrown away today, yes shocking officiating yet again ( which again the club will dofuck all about ie calling it out) but you would expect a National League standard player to easily put those chances away.

So we beat arsenal midweek they comeback with an injury time win over villa we waste about 10 chances to see off forest who then score with only attempt on goal arsenal 2 points in front and a game in hand YCMIU typical City is totally alive and kicking what a fucking shambles..

Truly lost for words. A game that should have been out of sight by half time we end up drawing. Fuck me. That was there for the taking and very very easily too. Sad thing is, the write-up will probably be praising them for being "plucky" and earning a draw. That really fucks me off when that happens.

What a game. I can't even find the words right now. That should have ended 1-4 at the very least.

Don't think we'll ever get rid of that 'typical' City tag, but then that's why we love them. It is such a drama watching us and you just don't know what to expect. Today was probably the most dominant performance we've had all season but we left them a chance to get in the game and they took it. Fair play to Forest they obviously planned not to attack for 75 minutes then if they were still in touching distance bring on some forwards and have a go....unfortunately for us it worked. Still a long way to go and plenty more twists. Come on City.

Can't believe that, imagine playing that well and still not winning.

On the same day that Arsenal play terribly and fluke a winner in injury time too.

Completely killed the momentum we got from beating them midweek.

Oh well, at least there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.

Utterly ludicrous, yet entirely predictable from the moment Foden contrived to balls up that 4 yard pass. Haaland no better either with that laughable penalty box collapse when clean through. All Wednesday's good work undone in a heartbeat
Is it fuck undone give your head a wobble ffs had Arsenal beat us Wed they'd be 8 clear with a game in hand and they're not.

There will be loads of dropped points till the end of the season by all teams. Everyone needs to chill. Over reactions YET AGAIN. We played very well. Haaland missed two sitters at once. You can’t blame anyone else for that. It just happens
Problem is it happens too often
It's not over reactions It's observations
That's a shocker of a result

Unbelievable, 20 shots at goal and only scored one. Absolutely fuming, really poor finishing and you just knew Forest were going to score.
