you could hear Pep screaming his name on my feed while the game was going on....not sure what Haaland can do unless it was about the fact that haaland was clearly getting frustrated and Pep wanted him to calm down?

Agree with this. Just saying to a disappointed teenage son Haaland also may need to adapt and mix it and come deep more.

Even if we stopped playing, we are not getting the pen, UEFA officials are going to wave that away
we know the score with UEFA, so we have to bet better than that and maybe kill the game off ?

But pep and the 2nd half for some reason did not change anything, it was like OK we got their number so just sit back and settle for defending a 1.0, and we have the home leg to beat them if they score,

I can understand the questions about why just let the result fizz out and not go for the winner because the 2nd leg,
but pep does things his way and will not change and not using a single sub is a pep thing

Do you think Haaland has upset the Apple cart with all the attention? This group of players have won everything multiple times bar the CL, yet this young upstart comes in and is the talk of the town? They don’t like it? Something is off.
 
I don't think people realise how hard it is to constantly keep going year in year out with the intensity we've been playing with the last 6/7 years...It's blood tough.

I'm not a happy clapper before anyone starts that bullshit. I'm more pissed off with players not taking risks with the ball to play in the big man rather than the performance overall. Yes we have been poor this season, But if we manage to win big ears this year by playing shit I'll snap your fucking hand off.
 
Every club in the world wants Haaland.

He signs for your club. Now you have to decide.

A. Play the ball to him as often as you can.
B. Ignore him
 
Sorry, but tonight tells us that it's over for Pep. Thanks for some amazing years, but it's obvious that 10 mins before Lepzeig equalized that changes needed to be made and he did fuck all again.

We have a worldie striker, and we can't get the ball to him, that's poor coaching from Pep. We have a big squad and he won't make a sub, we piss about around the box and then pass back before the half-way line.

Not a chance we win the Cl with Pep, sorry but he's a stubborn old goat who refuses to change and he will cost us the league this season.

He really has no plan A unless you consider knocking the ball around at the halfway line a game plan. They have no idea what to do with Haaland besides never passing the ball to him. He's constantly isolated against a single defender and they never think to just play the ball to him and let him use his strength and speed to beat him. It's time to play two up front and hoof it to them. Let Haaland either control a long pass or head it into Alvarez's patch.
 
Woeful game management from Pep for the umpteenth time, no sign of any subs coming on for the whole 90 minutes, it really is baffling as to why he decides not to change anything especially when he could see we were getting overrun second half. We're still a million miles away from winning this tournament, not going to happen again this season

1. Gvardiol climbed on Dias. Gave him height and ability to hang in the air. Also stopped Dias jumping and challenging for the ball. Free kick to to city.

2. Handball at the end. Clear as day. Ref missed it. Var should have given it even after the final whistle like the rags v Brighton last year. Var step in as clear ref error.

3. Rio Ferdinand is a fucking rag prick who should be nowhere near city games.
