Ivan Toney

And we never will. Its so corrupt, we need to keep the sky product squeaky clean.

it's sickening how sky protect its baby Premier League
even with the super league idea and the breakaway clubs, they knew they would not be involved so started a fan revolution and saying it's going to be taking the game away from the fans hahahaha, SKY did that in 1992

Football thrives on gambling. It has done for many decades.

Anyone who thinks that the game isn't full of players doing the same as (or even more than) Toney, is beyond naive.

Greed.

it can not be just one player, many players and officials, if not most are all in it together,
so I think it's greed by a player and then bookies getting hit hard, then it kicks off because somebody made a mistake and somebody has to take the blame, so it tries stopping players going over the top again with name and shaming them in the media,

As is usual in these cases, he probably trusted the wrong dickhead who he thought was a mate (or mate of a mate) but ended up being a grass
Weird that this stuff only ever seems to hit the lads who have fought and scraped their way up
Must also be an issue for the golden boys but seems they have better pr and legal teams
We all know about certain (ex) players and the organised crime figures floating about. Both at City and down the M62
Richard Dunne’s own goals spring to mind… you could get 9/1 with the bookies for an OG then. The Dunny Monster holds the all time record for own goals…

If the breakaway mob had promised sky the contract before making the announcement, there would be a Super League now.

6 month ban and fine looks likely.

Worse if he was betting against his own teams.
Barton got 18 months for 30 bets

Sounds about right this came out after he stuck two past us
Barton was over 1000 and some against his own teams.

Heys got 21 months for over 700 including against his own team.

They couldve at least ran with the story before last weekend's game. AGENDA!
This was in several papers 2 weeks ago. It was on Reddit even before that.

EXCLUSIVE: World Cup hopeful Ivan Toney has been investigated by the FA over historical gambling allegations for SEVEN MONTHS without reaching a conclusion... but there is no indication the Brentford star ever bet against his side

Ivan Toney is under an FA investigation over allegations of historic gambling.

The Brentford man has not been charged and the investigation is yet incomplete.

The alleged gambling activity took place before his transfer to west London.

England World Cup hopeful Ivan Toney is being investigated by the FA over allegations he gambled on football.

Toney has not been charged with any offence but it is thought that the investigation has been going on for seven months and has not yet reached its conclusion.

The investigation is understood to relate to alleged gambling activity during his time as a player in the lower leagues and before he moved to Brentford.

It is believed there is no suggestion that the Brentford striker ever gambled on his own team to lose.

Toney, who was picked in Gareth Southgate’s most recent England squad but has yet to make his debut, is said to be devastated by the leaking of news of the investigation.

He is desperate to play for his country and to make Southgate’s World Cup squad, which will be named on Thursday.

He was proud to be called into the squads for the recent Nations League ties and is hoping that the news of the investigation will not prejudice his chances.

Many view Toney as the ideal back-up for England captain Harry Kane, not only because of the form he has been in for Brentford but because he is a brilliant penalty taker who would be a prime asset if England are involved in shootouts at the World Cup.
