I get the impression whichever 2 midfielders we get will be getting on for that, plus whatever Gvardial costs. Wouldn’t leave much for a left back but who needs left backs ;)

Inter stuggling with cash, Barella & DiMarco just to help out. prob get the pair for about 100m looking at the press stories/rumours.

I think one of these may happen - doesn’t appear to be a standout candidate unless you pay silly money. I think one of these on a free with the idea being they stay a season or two and then we sell them when an elite left back comes to light may be the “plan”. No ideal.

Thats a choice for the club, makes no difference to us what we pay just want the best player

We don’t really sign players ‘just to help out’ about from maybe obvious back ups like Gomez

We could either buy kovacic and keep him for 2–3 years at his best and then sell him and go for a more expensive player because the market is only going to go up. Or get Macallister who can be here long term, I love kovacic as a player plus he is the one who I want but I think more people would go to Macallister
