What are you meant to do give them the ball. He is one prick who thinks he is better than he is...3 hoals in 2023 lolLooks like Howe took the hump at the corner flag shithousery at the end.
His team of cloggers deserved nothing less
Unless you can do your job properly, like united supporter Mark Chapman for example, it sadly seems that way doesn’t it?Is that how professional presenters work now?
Liverpool at home and Brentford away are all tougher games mate .The Arsenal game aside, today was the toughest game we have left and we came through it with aplomb. Dias and Ake were excellent at the back, our midfield were at it and Bernie coming on for the misfiring KDB was a master stroke.
Big 3 points regardless of all the knicker wetting which will ensue on here from Arsenal’s win. Only 5 points in it with a dozen games left to play.
Disagree. The dippers are having a decent run by their lamentably poor standards but they’re in such disarray at the back that we should carve them apart. Brentford will be like Brighton was 4 years ago, decent little team but if we have to win there to win it we’ll stroll itLiverpool at home and Brentford away are all tougher games mate .
I like your posts mate but if you thought KDB was brilliant in the first half you need specs, or new ones. He was woefully off it.That was one of our best performances of the season against a well organised & very energetic Newcastle.
The difference today? The physical effort & fight we added to our slick controlled play. During the first half we hunted in packs & pressured Newcastle into all manner of errors.
As early as the 4th minute, Aké, Rodri & Grealish crunched into an advanced Trippier & emerged with the ball. Midway in the first, the ball broke in the centre circle after Haaland disrupted their CB's, & as the ball spun loose, Gundog, Rodri & KDB came crunching in & emerged with the ball. AND when the ball broke loose after an attack in their box, Dias, KDB, Foden & Rodri again crunched in & emerged with the ball.
This fighting mentality is what's been missing in our play most of the season & what a difference it makes. It turns a good Man City into a brilliant Man City. Could it be that Cancelo's attitude had spread to the squad, creating a toxic atmosphere?
We controlled huge swathes of the game & played some beautiful football. Foden was exceptional in the first half & it seems we have him back & on form just as we enter the business end of the season.
KDB was brilliant in the first half, but faded badly in the second. It seems we may have to face the fact that he's past his peak & we'll have to manage his playing time to get the most out of him. As Kev's energy levels dropped, Newcastle took control of the match & Bernardo's timely introduction couldn't have come at a better time & what an inspired change. The build up & execution of Bernardo's goal was simply world class.
Grealish was supreme in the second half & was everywhere controlling possession. The two players who stood out for me though were Rodri & Aké.
Rodri's performance today scared me! Why? Because how the fuck do we rest & rotate him when he plays like he did today? He was the Beethoven-esque conductor of The Etihad today & totally imperious.
HOWEVER, my MoTM has to be Aké. He was absolutely world class today & barely put a foot wrong. We still need a couple of specialist left backs in the summer, but Aké has added a level of solidity & confidence in that position which we've been lacking all season.
It was telling that Guardiola had a smile on his face from the kick off. Pep was smiling, the team were smiling & so were us fans. Something's changed recently. Things are clicking into place & we're hopefully building serious momentum as we enter the final ⅓ of a disrupted, hard slog of a World Cup season. )(
Hard game to watch at times....what was up with Jason Tindall at the end .glaring at Pep as he spoke to Howe then just walked away no hand shake .Pep saw it...his face was a picture.Win or lose its a hand shake.
Sorry if you were already corrected, but Tindall actually shook hands with Pep just before Howe did. Regarding the glare, he was probably just listening in on their conversation.Saw that as well, Pep was bemused by it, what was it all about
Rodri was fantastic today. With two midfielders next to him who hardly helped. We were also playing a very strong team- they are going to have some sort of periodAkanji all over the shop, bailed out by Dias and Ake.
Foden and Grealish great.
De Bruyne and Gundo not.
Rodders looks knackered and Eddie distribution was shit.
Good first half from us, terrible 15 minutes in the second, in control for the remainder.
I thought Gundo had a good game to be fair. kev is struggling at the moment though.Akanji all over the shop, bailed out by Dias and Ake.

You missed out the 2 Hairy bikersThis
Can’t have watched the right game, Kev was fucking horrendous.I like your posts mate but if you thought KDB was brilliant in the first half you need specs, or new ones. He was woefully off it.
