Even though Starmer isn't my idea of left wing, I am hopeful that once he is in govt the general direction of travel in this country towards facism will be reversed. Hate and resentment is always mobilised by the right during economic hard times, so if we eventually get to the point where ordinary employed people do not have to use food banks maybe these sort of media outlets will recede.We’re a little way behind.
