Most people you see in the UK seem to be wearing the real thing though, unless the knockoffs are just better quality here

Whereas in certain Asian/African countries you’re more likely to see people wearing blatant knock offs than the kosher kit

‘Loads’ was probably the wrong word. I meant you still see snides but most will want the genuine article

The leaks never do them justice, it’s a phone camera picture of a quick replication of a draft version of the kit

And even considering that, it looks smarter than most year’s leaks to me. Screams City. Almost identical to the 2003 kit, and by virtue of that also very similar to a few others we’ve had over the decades.

If it turns out to be a slightly smartened up version of this early leak I’ll be over the blue moon.

Puma don’t deserve to be hated on, they’ve given us a thousand miles better than Nike did overall. Nothing will ever compare to Umbro, but they set the bar high

Have to respectfully disagree... firstly, the 2003 shirt wasn't great - a poor imitation of one of my personal favourite City shirts - 1983-85!
IF Puma had done shadow-stripes, I would probably have a different opinion – my whole issue is the shite stripe pattern on it... it looks like someone has drawn on it in biro, and I don't like the fact they're not equi-distant!
And i'd also say that the leaked image is probably the best i've seen, so It won't look any different in the flesh... it will look better from the stand, but that's because the shit pattern won't be visible from distance... Honestly you see sunday league teams with nicer kits... go and look at Hope&Glory's website and the kits they produce for much smaller teams...
What makes it worse is that this season they knocked it out of the park with the home kit... genuinely one of my favourite ever City home kits, it just looks so classy!

16/17 was certainly worse than 18/19 imo. Although 06/07 was pretty bad. Bad season n all.

I always say navy socks as that is what we were founded as a club with



We didn’t start wearing sky blue socks until the 1950s but don’t mind them (nor do I mind white).
