He has apparently said yes to us not you saying we struck a deal at 125m! To me that says deal done and dusted! But we all know transfers are not that easy and anything can happen, as in a last minute change of mind…

Thing is if Liverpool match it would he rather go there if they get top four?!

That, I genuinely can't answer.

I don't think anyone outside his own family could?

He will never tell us his real preference, whoever he signs for.

Having just heard Liverpool have lost to Bournemouth, I have to wonder where they will get the money from to match us if they don't make top four!!

The dippers have also fucked themselves in imo as IF (and it’s a big IF) they do the Bellingham fee and wages they have realistically no major players they can sell to offset the cost? Keita going on a free, Firmino and OX as well? So wages saved but no fees in? Plus Milner and Henderson less mobile every season means they need 3-4 top players? Also, after letting Salah bully them for wages how would the likes of Van Dick, Robertson, Fabinho etc react if someone came in on double their wages at least??

How long till the Bellingham news gets leaked to the media (Sky sports)

But Gomez is probably going on loan in the summer anyway so surely we need one even if we go into the free agent’s to get a rotational one
Finding one that can be a Pep left back as well as being able to defend will be extremely difficult. I would be happy with Bernardo staying & being emergency cover.

I think Liverpool qualifying for the champions league is irrelevant. City will want a decision from Bellingham long before the scousers can guarantee champions league football next season.

A tad bit random, but what happens to Lavia's situation if/when Southampton go down? Is it worth swinging back around for him and taking it on the chin, or do we think another club will scoop him up? He seems almost too good to be starting in the championship, but he's young as well so perhaps it is a great opportunity.
