The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

Here's another

Graham Linehan.
If true, then that's a shame. The IT Crowd is classic. I've not really seen anything about him being cancelled though.

Regardless of political affiliations, our national broadcaster shouldn't be muffling a sports presenters for criticising what is a pretty abhorrent government policy.

They're the BBC's own figures (estimates) that were based on one month this season.
UK population circa 65m, potentially inflated BBC (estimated) top viewing figure circa 2m (say 3% of the population). That's around half of the weekly numbers estimated in 2010.

The BBC commissions / prepares stats to justify it's own existence and continuing the TV licence.

we will never know the better brave new world has no commentary no analysis and no VAR coverage - but of course the gammon prefer this version of football coverage. I mean if it was that good why is this the only example of its type in the world? Everywhere else has commentary and analysis on all sports
Said this before, how do you shoehorn a “gammon” into a choice of preferring something that’s got nothing to do with politics or social standing. I mean I’d prefer the proper MOTD format but can understand plenty of other just wanting packaged highlights for various reasons. I think using “gammon” is quite offensive and inappropriate.
