Not neccessarily if they go down. Maybe a loan with an option to buy could even be arranged.

Also my original suggestion was before his move to Bournemouth. My last tweet was just sort of keeping updated on him.

That being said I think you may be right that he is a little too direct but. he has all of the raw attributes to be a top player and I reckon Pep would get that out of him, but it might be more of a project type signing than the club are looking for.

a. Current form doesn't equal consistency
b. Sané was notoriously inconsistent
c. Grealish is more consistent than either other player but doesn't get that many g/a numbers regardless
d. Compare him to Sterling or Mahrez and try and tell me Zaha is consistent

He'd definitely be an option player at first, while developing the slow it down/speed it up but yeah, not sure Pep is after projects.
 
Milan Skriniar out of contract this summer. Any Serie A fans know if he could still be a contender for a top CL club?
 
If Bernardo leaves i would try for Khephren Thuram, tall midfielder that is very quick for his position, has the ability to glide past players with a good shot going forward and is incredibly hard to get past defensively, his first touch needs improving, his short passing needs improving, his positional awareness needs improving, but what better place to do it than here.
