To be fair I don't suppose musty is a firearms expert, and it is what they are generally referred to in movies etc. I wouldn't have known either.

When I was a kid, the most exciting thing in Openshaw would be someone opening a bottle of brown ale outside licensing hours. How times change!

Ditto. I remember a video arcade on the corner of Ashton New Road I spent a lot of misspent time in my youth too, not much else I remember about the area.

Maybe if people didn't post "something naughty" (more accurately, demeaning) about the journalist's appearance, and stuck to her comments, we wouldn't need to be deleting posts. It's radical, I know.

When members report posts for offensive comments written, we Mods review the reports and act accordingly, as what happened in this case.
Some posts discussing the same topic were fine but in replying, they reproduced a part of the original issue that caused the offence.
Any post remaining was not edited as such, just the bit that was reproduced by the reply button had been deleted.
