I must admit. I missed this game to take a girl on a date to Tatto Chinese in town. What’s worst I’ve had a season ticket for 29 years, and fucked my mates, old man and City off that day for her!

I’d love to say that I ended up marrying her and we called our first born Vincent!

We didn’t, we had an argument because I kept checking my phone for the score, and I cheated on her!

I left this game early, in fact I had to leave at half time!

My wife was quite ill, and struggling at the time. She rang me just before the game and asked me to come home, to which I said give it to half time and let me know if you don’t get better. She didn’t get any better, so I got a taxi home.

When I got in, I put the radio on, and when Kompany scored, I was clearing chunks of sick out of the kitchen sink with my hands.

I've seen that on a sky advert and thought the same thing . As it's my best ever city moment and the guy sat next to me was crying and I went bonkers with joy.

I was in a hotel in Southampton as I was going on a cruise the following day. Kept checking the score on my iPad and when it came up Vinny had scored I thought it must have been a header from a corner. When I eventually saw the goal I was shocked, as everybody who saw it live must have been.

I have to confess......I was the muppet in colin bell lower screaming at Vinny "FUCKING PASS IT, DONT SHOOT!" .... then in a split second it was all a blur and simply the pure joy of celebration with mates and complete strangers.........that is why we love football.
