Liverpool bus damaged on journey back from Etihad Stadium today

They've been complaining about it for a while but very low-key. Suddenly it seems to have ramped up this season.

Can't think why:

Hmm neither can I.
Personally I could care less if a the Bin Dippers are offended.
Those sanctimonious twats have no right to claim the moral high ground with their roll of shame.
For me it's about their refusal to ever take responsibility for their numerous misdemeanours and I won't stop joining in because they don't like it.

Maybe we should appropriate YNWA as our own song.

First line could be:

"Fuck off, fuck off, with ......"

Someone else can complete the rest. But sing that loud and proud at them every game and see what they make of their anthem then :)
The rags did in the seventies, you'll never walk again being the punch line, changed to you'll never work again in the eighties.
Have to say our neighbours warned us about them back in the day but their hatred of all things Manchester was principally diricted at the rags as we were no threat. As a veteran of the 1981 league cup semi final I needed no instruction on Scouse behaviour and have spewed Anfield ever since. Basically whoever is denying them trophies will be the target of their bile, have to live with it till we are shit again.

Has the ‘lone’ Liverpool coach attacker been charged yet?

Liverpool have been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after players surrounded referee Simon Hooper during last Saturday's defeat at Manchester City.

A number of players protested that City midfielder Rodri should have had a second yellow card - and so been sent off - for a trip on Cody Gakpo.

I'm amazed they actually charged them. It's been nearly a week, what took them so long? I'll expect total exoneration and a red card respectively for Rodri.

My understanding is that the referee's report is received by the Tuesday before further action is considered. Thursday is pretty reasonable for timing, I think.

I do think we need to realise every fanbase has it's share of arseholes and embarrassments but I am surprised at the amount of Liverpool FC apologist blues on this thread bending over backwards to excuse some of the things people are rightly criticising them for. It's not like all English clubs have a Heysel against their name(thank god) and had the rest of english football banned from Europe as a direct consequence. Every country has it's trouble makers and always has(it's never been just an English problem), so I don't subscribe to this notion that "it was probably coming anyway, probably needed". I mean come on(what's next thanking them?), a firmer crackdown on banning individuals was what was needed, not that. It caused more damage than some people want to admit IMO.

These days, they do seem to have the most arseholes of any English club. Also, they all seem to have bad/entitled attitudes to me. Whenever there's a FFP conversation around City, there will be a red scouse, on his soapbox, talking complete bollocks. I was watching the fan reactions to the game at the weekend earlier too. They constantly remind me why they are my most disliked club. Thank fuck we smashed them. I really needed that.

These knicker wetters are getting giddy because we haven't sold out for the semi final yet. They really don't get it do they, when you've been there 20 odd times in the last 10 years or whatever the novelty wears off about trekking down London again when we shouldn't really have to. We all know Liverpool could sell their allocation to cockneys alone, perhaps that's what they're waving their dicks about having more supporters. Yes, we know that you desperate fucks.
How many have they sold?

None of the Dipper FFP "experts" can explain why the dippers were able to write off £50 million against a stadium that was never built to avoid failing FFP.

118 pages about a pebble bein thrown at the dippers coach. How many pages did we have when the dippers destroyed our coach??

I love mentioning that too, you can tell they google it and think to themselves "Fuck... I didn't know that la. Gonna swerve tha"
I love telling them they were saved from administration by a loan from RBS that was a publically owned bank at the time.
To put it another way, they were state funded.

Having kept up with this thread on and off and then reading the messages from these two forum members whom I very much respect (ok I also respect a lot of others :-) as well) makes me very glad that I stick with singing/chanting only things that are just mentioning City. You know like Edin Dzeko and ‘we fight to the end’. I do wonder sometimes why I’m chanting (singing is definitely not my thing) on my own but hey ho I was always a loner!! ;-)

In other words, although I object very strongly to the Club apologising for ALL fans when some of us are not involved, basically they wouldn’t have to if it didn’t happen. As I’ve said earlier let’s just sing our own songs relating to us. Let other teams sing/chant what they want. :-)

After all we can forever sing: “Manchester City, the Best Team in the Land and all the World “. :-)

Sorry JMHO. Thank you @gordondaviesmoustache and @Prestwich_Blue for your succinct (lovely word) summing up. :-)
Part of the whole match “experience “ is to goad the opposition fans with witty ditties that rile the fuck out of them. It’s tribalism; it’s isn’t-it-great-to-not-give-a-fuck-on-a-Saturday-afternoonism; it’s part and parcel of the game. Singing songs just about City? Fuck that and the six-fingered Burnley glove it came wrapped in.

They grassed Michael Shields mate but no one saw the pint pot filled with piss & coins being launched.
@cheekybids They didn't grass Shield mate. They forced an innocent person to confess. The lad did so in fear of his life. Shields solicitor, knowing it was a false confession refused to use it as part of any evidence for a retrial. Not that the media politicians or religious leaders bothered with that very important point. They continued to use the forced confession for the good of the cause.

Is that last sentence implying you think I am a six fingered Burnley supporter????

If so I would like an apology as I have followed City woman and girl for over 60 yrs thank you very much.

Also if it is I am mortally offended!!!!!!

Ffs you still running this crusade you started a day ago that Always the Victim is about Hillsborough based on 2 articles from 2012.

By sheer virtue of language, it can't possibly be about Hillsborough. The simple concept of Always, and Never, it just can't be about one fucking event or incident, can it. It is literally non-sensical to claim so.

Liverpool also claimed 'victims of it all, sterling won the trebble' was about Hillsborough, and the media reported it, is that one so clearly about it too?
