Everyone worked really hard, some of our passing was a bit below par and some of our decision making was a bit questionable at times. Missing the penalty was irritating to say the least but Haaland did well to put it behind him, his finish for the goal was great. The team looked like they truly believed when that went in.
Bayern were argumentative snidey little buggers. Was fed up of seeing bloody Oliver Kahn too.
 
I don't know about anyone else, I don't know what word to use but it's quite overwhelming/happy, emotional...I don't know. But watching City all these years at Maine Road and watching us in the lower leagues, Relegation and Promotion to now watch us completely outplay Bayern Munich over two legs in the Champions League it's unbelievable. Anytime is a good time to be a blue regardless what division we are in but this is truly incredible how far we have come in such a short space of time.

What a fucking club! Enjoy every minute of this blues!
 
Great result, as Pep always says and will again, when you play the top teams you have periods where you have to suffer. I hope Ake is okay as that side will get targeted like fuck while he's out. Erling scored but we need him to be putting penalties away in big games like this. Oh for someone like Ya Ya who never missed no matter what the occasion. We're better than Madrid but we all know what they possess and they have the quality to hurt anybody.

yes think walker might have to play the Akanji role.
 
Such a professional performance, but we need to show more composure when going ahead in these European away games. We suddenly stopped playing and were inviting Bayern on all the time. Great defending throughout and Akanji motm.
Bring on Real, let's not fear them
 
I don't think we can underestimate what a number we just did on one of the top 5-6 sides in Europe. That was fucking class. Yes, tonight we made some poor passes, looked nervy at times - but I fancy us to dick everyone at home - we just have to do a decent job at the bernabau. Not gonna be easy, but chelsea played thruogh them yesterday often - and if we're honest we battered them last year and were fucking unlucky/football madness from the final.

I don't know if we'll win, but we'll give it a good fucking go and that's all i want.
 
The result was all that mattered tonight and we got it. Great goal. Their pen and ours were harsh for me. That’s the problem with this competition. You do need some luck as any old shit decision can go against you. Cancelo was as shit as expected. Onwards and upwards. Great momentum.
