Bayern Munich (A) | Post Match Thread

Brilliant performance tonight! That's what you call a professional display. We never looked under pressure at any stage of that game. Bayern had "moments" in the game just as we did also.

Never in doubt! Ruben Dias was fucking immense at the back. Hopefully Ake isn't out long with a hamstring injury.

Buzzing with that display.

CITY CITY CITY

Very controlled, professional performance and defensively City were superb. I was confident before the game and team didn't let me down. Could have done without the Ake injury, but time for Laporte to show his worth.

fuck bayern Munich you shower of shit, German rags, hope they lose the title to Dortmund too somehow.
they fired Nagelsmann in the hope of Tuchel coming in and winning the treble, Tuchel in his second game lost out to Freiburg in German Cup, lost to City 4-1 overall, could have been more if we score sitters and pen. Nagelsmann must be laughing.

well done City, great performance, resilience, bloody hard run of games coming up, but this is what it takes if we going for 3 trophies still. hope we learnt a lot from last year tie vs Real, but until then we have FA semis, Arsenal in the league etc., lot of high pressure games before we go to Bernabeu again.

This should be the new god wills it win, lose or draw!!!

Huge fan of that result and performance. Killed the tie, soaked up all the Bayern bluster and did the job.

We didn’t get drawn into anything stupid and showed some experience and guile. Looks like we learnt from that Madrid game.

Onwards to the biggest shithouses in world football, time for Erling to put them to bed.
I think we will find out in the semis if we've learnt our lesson from the previous madrid game.

One thing we'll have to make absolutely sure of - having & holding onto a good cushion of a lead. If that pen is anything to go on they'll give one for anything
