I thought when he gave our penalty it would not be overturned by VAR. Likewise; if he didn't give it, I could not see it being overturned by VAR.

The Bayern penalty to be given by VARbet.com was insane. I guess I don't understand the rules, or how VAR is applied in Europe?
 
We did a job on the German Rags tonight , gave them virtually nothing and their famous atmosphere didnt make one iota of difference , one of the finest two legged performances by an English team in the Champs league for a long time.
Maybe we should give up on getting the credit we deserve from our media , it really is disgraceful how BT continually praise the opposition and look for ways to encourage our opponents , you have suedo Dipper fan Humphreys , a Rag in Camel Gob a Bayern fan in Hargreaves and a token blue pundit in Lescott , when Dippers or Rags play in europe there is a minimum of three pundits for the red 'istree clubs.
We can console oursleves in the pain we administer with every trophy we collect and the faint praise through gritted teeth that we recieve, f*ck the lot of 'em.

Spot on. Worked hard to resist their early onslaught; the tie was over at HT; broke their resolve and cruised in 2nd half. Professional.

Yes for the minutes he was on in a game already well won.
I personally prefer Aka there than him, as i believe Pep must do

Apart from get done early and have to rugby tackle the player and get an immediate yellow card!!

Or, go missing (didn’t read Dias coming over to cover his man and tuck in to cover Dias, so they both got done!).

But, yes, he has a cultured left foot, is decent in the air and has reasonable pace for a tall CB. That said, Ake is a better LCB in a 3 man defence.
