Manchester City
Hat-trick hero Riyad Mahrez, speaking to ITV1: "It feels very good [to score a hat-trick]. The most important thing is that two or three seasons in a row we've come here in the semi-finals and lost. Today, we wanted to make sure we got to the final. I think I had a good game.
"I don't know really which goal was the best. It's a good team achievement and we took the game seriously.
"It means a lot to be in final. We really want to work hard in every competition going. We're in the final of the FA Cup which is amazing. Now we have to concentrate on the league and the next game against Arsenal.
"We have a very good squad and a very good team. We have to keep going."

We'll double that if the rags manage to cheat their way through tomorrow.

That just might happen. An all Manchester final for the first time in history is too mouth-watering a prospect for the “brand” world wide for there not to be manipulation.
That said, I'm fully in favour of BHA, despite the fact that it'll be a difficult match for us.

I was in block 523 and never seen so many people who didnt appear interested in the game. A lot of tourists but also a lot of people who just seemed to be there for a free day out. Weird.
Probably because most people expected a City walk over, many didn't bother attending or watching.

Again, both teams have games of huge significance next week, so it'll all be about bigger priorities.

I'd have settled for an easy, boring 1-0 win, with no injuries. As it turned out Mahrez got a hattrick, so job done, happy days, roll on Wednesday... )(

The two Premier Inns in Borehamwood are decent for Wembley games. Usually cheaper than anything closer to central London.

Always worthwhile checking the ones in Harrow too, around near Northwick Park Station. Just a few stops on the metropolitan line to Wembley Park.

Really don't want United in the final.

As great as it would be to twat them on the way to a treble, there is no way PiGMOL wouldn't be more of an influence, IMO. That and if they knew they were in a losing position, they'd try and cripple our players before a potential CL Final.
Beating United is like pumping your attractive 28 yr old neighbour while her husband nips out to the corner shop for a pint of milk. Beating Brighton is like pumping your wife while thinking about your neighbour …………….. nipping out to the corner shop for a pint of milk

City v Brighton would be a final worthy of the name.

City v the rags wouldn't.

Nor weird seen the times we’ve been at Wembley the last 12 years. And the opponent. And the way the game went. So one-sided.

It’s also known as reality.

Not saying I approve. Just saying I can understand.

What I do not understand is so many empty places in the Sheffield end.

Still trying to get my head around that…
