First ever Manchester Derby final

It's the officials that worry me!
You're not the only one, it could well be City v United/Officials on the pitch/VAR !!
Although they aren't quite as shit as some blues would like to think (they did sound shit today though!) There have been a few derby games in recent years where we haven't ''turned up' but we' should 'beat them If we really turn up . If we play anywhere near our best we (hopefully)could well batter them.
Brighton would obviously have been a lot less stressful, as losing to this lit would be pretty unbearable.
Not that it really matters, but at least most neutrals will probably want us to win, as inspite of what the media like to think they (like Liverpool) are still way, way more disliked by most football fans than we are for sure.

This final is going to be mental both on and off the field, I can see the football being dull as fuck and united making it ugly and in our faces, So the officials controlling it in the way we all know that suits one club (united), Yellow card flying about to anybody in a blue shirt will be the order of the day,

Look we have far too much for them and if the officials don't get involved then we win, But they know this and it's why the officials will even up the game and stop us from playing our game and putting our quality all over them,

What we all watched in the last derby is how the match officials controlled the game and cheated, the linesman flagging anything close to offside with the city players and then letting it go for the united players

The match? So long as we play to our strengths and not have a referee allow dangerous tackles go unpunished, an easy 5-1 win.

However I am decidedely NOT looking forward to the weeks of anti-City buildup from all sides of the media.

It's the officials that worry me!
My feelings exactly, another blatant "failure "of the official's again, with added bonus of no action against them , it will be glossed over and forgotten in the sycophantic love in.
One last thing (as Columbo would say) ,what is it about them, that an old peaceful chap like me feels such animosity towards the whinging moaning shower. They all seem to have the Ince permanent scowl.

I've always been nervous at the prospect of it but seeing the way they played today we'll rip them a new one. 30,000 of us blues vs 40,000 scruffy rags it's never been more on. Praying it goes down to match day members or somehow get my hands on a ticket.

It’s sad that Blues fear going but I fully understand their concerns. When I was in Malaga for my birthday, I met two reds (both Mancs) and they were both complete cunts. One loudly broadcasting his wealth and the other an utter bigot.
