Considering three nights in early May whilst in between jobs. Nice break? Always fancied Poland and I can fly there from John Lennon Airport in Victimpool.
Krakow is a great city break too, for so many reasonsConsidering three nights in early May whilst in between jobs. Nice break? Always fancied Poland and I can fly there from John Lennon Airport in Victimpool.
I never saw any pissed-up Brits in Krakow and I've been three timesFantastic City. Wasn’t a huge fan initially but it’s grown on me. Less touristy and much less pissed up Brits than Krakow.
Weather should be nice in may so it’s a great city to just wander around in. I can highly recommend the Uprising Museum, Nowy Swiat and Stare Miasto. There’s a statue to Kaz Deyna at the legia stadium, for some City content.
One thing to bear in mind when there. In 1945 Warszawa didn’t exist. 85-99% of the buildings were destroyed and all the Old Town was reconstructed from scratch. Some of the surviving buildings from that era still have the bullet holes.
I’ve been scores of times. Every time, pished up Brits. Another city ruined by EasyJet/RyanairI never saw any pissed-up Brits in Krakow and I've been three times
Yep, well worth a visit.Krakow is a great city break too, for so many reasons
Am going to Wroclaw and Krakow in a fortnight.Havnt been to Warsaw but much preferred Wroclaw to Krakow and Gdansk .really brilliant city no one goes to think we paid about £20 return
I know a lad who raves about Poland. He is a FIAT nutter and a lot of FIAT's were made there - Cinquicento's Siecentos and so on and he has owned loads of them. The Covid years dampened down his travels but he used to go annually to a FIAT owners rally held in various towns in Poland. He said they are all smashing folk - mad as badgers and for a car meeting there was an awful lot of vodka consumed. I always thought he would end up there full time in the end.
Am going to Wroclaw and Krakow in a fortnight.
Hoping to get to a football match.
Do you have any tips on what to do and see ?
Advice on bars, cafes, restaurants etc. would also be greatly received.
Thanks a lot...

It’s relatively easy to get tickets for Polish fitba but you will need your passport when buying tickets and entering ground.Yes please, thanks mate.

Squares probably £2 a pint ,Wroclaw is famous for its dwarf statues there's hundreds of them .Am going to Wroclaw and Krakow in a fortnight.
