Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

Arsenal the bottlers, and tonight they had their own Bottler with the whistle. What a fuckin' performance right the way across the team. Would have been nice had Eddie got a 'good strong hand' to the Arse solitary shot on target, but yer can't have everything. I'd just like, whatever the score, a ref who treats fouls and yellow cards exactly the same for both teams. Rodri got booked, quite rightly, but why, five minutes later when Haarland was taken out was the Arse guy not booked. How did the pen in the first half end up as a FK for Arsenal. And when are refs gonna treat the initial foul in the same way as a retaliatory push identically. I can't help but think that Oliver, despite four goals legitimately scored, begrudges every one. I remember the look on his face when the buzz went on his wrist for a 'goal line' clearance v The Rags. He was visibly deflated.

Mind, I've just seen a Dipper play the ball with his elbow, and Kavanagh the Kunt and his mates in the VAR shed just play on - we seem to have incompetents running around on other grounds masquerading as refs.
 
So so ecstatic after that brilliant performance. Such a complete masterful display of intelligent attacking football. Kev was awesome again. Credit to Pep Guardiola for managing his game and getting him fresh for this game. Akanji outstanding job on Saka. Haaland could have had 4 but his all round play was excellent. Johnny, Johnny Stones...what can I say. Eddie as cool as you like. Can't fault anyone. I won't sleep much tonight!
 
What a performance! Everyone was a few levels of class above every single Arsenal player. It was honestly quite easy.

Arsenal looked scared to death of the atmosphere and our team. Their gameplan was all geared to how scared they were of us. They didn’t want to press because they were too scared of what we’d do if we passed out of it, they didn’t want to sit back as they were too scared of us pushing them back into their own box… so they kind of did nothing.

We were incredible tonight. Everyone, but especially Kevin de Bruyne. He has got to be the best player in the world; when he has the sniff of the title and he’s ‘on it’ with the title in his sights, there’s nobody who touches him.

Atmosphere was top tonight n’all. Arsenal were rattled by it. Fair play to the Gooners though, while they didn’t sing much at all for 65 minutes, we had a quiet spell and they did sing for ten minutes and didn’t fuck off en mass like United and Liverpool fans both did in their visits to the Etihad this season.

Arsenal are a bunch of shithouses. They were having little pops at our players all game. Partey should have had a red card but Oliver bottled it. Jesus and Xhaka should have had yellows. In fact in the Jesus incident the ref actually booked Dias who had been fouled then pushed.

Laughable when you consider the Pen they were given at the Emirates to help them back into the game, “we win by ourselves, nobody helps us” Pep ain’t wrong
 
Utterly brilliant. Arsenal were flattered by that scoreline.

KDB majestic. Haaland missed good chances but made his presence felt big time. Who expected such an unselfish player when we signed him. Grealish too; he really works for the team nowadays and loves a bit of niggle on the side.

All in all, this was as professional a performance as you will ever see.
 
Played out to my expectation. Had a good vibe about today and put £1.50 on at 18/1 for 4 - 1

Some bizarre decisions or lack of by Oliver. How did Partey not get a 2nd yellow. White pushes Dias into corner flag and a yellow for our player.

Played like champions and as often the case the big game players step up. Kev was brilliant and the 1st goal only he could do that.

He was fouled, pushed and then kicked twice while he was on the ground.
Yet walks away with a yellow card.
 
thought pep nailed the gameplan for tonight, we made arsenal look bang average, like they didnt belong on that pitch, we didnt let them play until very late in the game. Kdb and Haaland attacked holding all night which was smart.

Great win and we could've scored a couple more at least, most of our guys are in form which is a contrast to the start of the season and the opposite aplies to arsenal, they seemingly turned into a pumpkin the last few weeks or so. Lets ride this wave until the end of the season, please
