Fulham are allowing JG and RM the space out wide and completely clogging the central corridor knowing that both are inverted and can’t/won’t cross in their non preferred foot so they cut inside and there’s defensive numbers. It’s very congested in that middle corridor. Also, they’re playing a defensive triangle on Rodri to stop ball movement through him. Decent enough half and they’ve only had two shots, but at times it’s looked a little easy for them down our RHS. Pep will sort them out a little at HT. We need another goal or two just to ease the nerves!

I thought he was asleep for the goal, run away from his guy towards the player Ruben was marking, and then the Fulham player was unmarked, scored. Otherwise, Fulham created nothing really, so we are comfortable.
He didn't run away from his guy, he followed the guy and then the ball dropped off for the other guy who was right behind the both of them. Sometimes things just happen in football. No need to find a scapegoat

Always dangerous playing this kind of game after such a big game midweek. We found that out v Forest.

Just need to keep fashioning the chances we did in that first half and I think the goals will come.

Thought Tosin did a better job v Haaland than most Champions League CBs this season (hopefully I’ve jinxed him now).

Played well most of that half. Got a bit sloppy with our defensive passing the last few mins which put us under pressure though which we need to cut out.

Had a few decent chances and Grealish was a bit unlucky when hitting the bar after a good save from their keeper. Gundogan also a bit unlucky with his chance.

Tighten up our passing a bit and there's another goal or 2 for us here and we should win this comfortably.

has a bit of Sunday sleepy vibe on this match, a quick goal in 2nd half could help put them to sleep in this match.
