All I keep seeing on social media and hearing on TV and radio is can city win the treble, will city win the treble.

It's honestly never crossed my mind. I see each competition as an individual. The only thing I'm concentrating on is beating arsenal to the league. Next week it'll be beating real Madrid and in 4 weeks it'll be beating united. I don't see all competitions as a collective. I think the only ones thinking about city winning the treble are people associated with united, fearing we'll match their record.

Are you thinking about a treble?

I'm only thinking about winning the league, fuck the others.

I am. And I don't think we'll ever have a better chance to do it.

We are bad day away from it slipping away, and any combination of 2/3 would be fine for me, but it's on. The club are targeting it, we are good enough for it, and with a smidge of luck and the form we are in it's there for the taking. I see no reason to hide from it or pretend it's not a possibility.

That said, we haven't won anything yet and there's a smaller but outside chance we'll win nothing so we can't let ourselves get too carried away.

I think about it all the time.

However, this will not be serious until City have won the Premier League, the FA Cup and are 3-0 ahead against Inter or Milan going into added time.

I'd not even thought about it until I heard it being mentioned in the media.

I can't say I'm bothered about it. If it happens, great, if it doesn't, so what.

I remember singing '34 years and we're still here'. We've come a long way since then, and as an old school fan, being league champions will do me, and that in itself seems incredibly arrogant.

The only reason anyone in the media is talking about the treble already is to set us up to have a go when we fail, and then even if we do miraculously pull it off they’ll say “well it’s not that impressive since we were all expecting it, let’s talk about how great the underdog Arsenal were instead”

Fuck the media and fuck the parasites.
