City will have to play as well as they did against Arsenal to win in Madrid. Madrid will score and City will have to "suffer" as Pep often says, but if Haaland does better than he did on Saturday it will go ok. Real Madrid 2 Manchester City 2, then an epic night coming up next week.

Ederson
Walker - Stones - Dias - Akanji
Kdb - Rodri - Gundogan
Bernardo - Haaland - Grealish

Would be my wish.

It's just an Aké away from being the best starting xi in world football

I reckon we'll see another 4-1 aggregate win as well

One thing that our boys need to do today is to pass the ball to a player who is in a better position to score.
Coutois is going to be a wall tonight and we need to take every chance we get.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record does anyone have any idea when and where we’re supposed to pick up tickets in Madrid? I am admittedly sitting having a cold Mahou and a nice tortilla but I’d quite like to know I can actually get in tomorrow night. And yes I know we’re supposed to receive an email but it’s Monday afternoon and tumbleweed from the ticket office. Thanks in advance

I presume people should go even if they have no ticket. Manchester charm should get them in no probs. And failing that just climb the fences. No doubt there's plenty of free room in the aisles to accommodate. And if it all turns to shit just cry into a camera lense and blame the locals.

I am impressed of the amount of people who wants Laporte to start. The same guy that has made several huge mistakes in vital moments at UCL. Two gifted goals against Tottenham, Lyon and Madrid (I still can't believe how he chose to not even try to close Vinicius in his goal, and his penalty...). Walker has never made mistakes in vital UCL games, actually quite the opposite. He loves defending, while Laporte is great when he is under less pressure which these games are not. We will need to defend sometimes and be aggressive, and Akanji and Walker are way more comfortable on that.
