Too much talk about their front 3, but it's not even certain that Rodrygo will start. They started with Rodrygo at Etihad last season and we created chances for fun. Therefore, Ancelotti decided to start with Valverde in Madrid. Wouldn't be surprised if they go with 4 mids plus Benzema and Vin. Jr in attack.

Forget last year, when Real Madrid doesn't even know how he won.
It was just was coincidence.
If last year City was better team than Real Madrid, this year is MORE.
Real Madrid is worse. Benzema is worse. Modric Kroos are 1 year older. The team is a desert in Liga and they are so tired.

Ancelotti just use 12 or 13 players. Guardiola uses ALL.
And Guardiola uses ALL because he did his job: get quality.

Rico is quality.

Ake is quality.

Ortega Moreno is quality.... etc.

But Vallejo is not quality. Mariano is not quality. Lunin is not quality.

Odriozola, Cañizares, Vazquez... not quality.

Also: Haaland.

Just the word "Haaland" is a reason to say "Real Madrid game over".

I hope you are right but I'm afraid that's a bit simplistic. They have several top talents who are better now than last season: Vin Jr, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Militao...The older players may be a bit worse, but the younger players showed they could be great by beating Liverpool 5:2 and Barcelona 4:0, at their grounds at that. Should not be taken lightly at all.

This Champions is yours.

Forget other ideas.

If we stuff Real we can expect Tebas to be straight on the offensive , knocking out his pet project Madrid club will not go down well , it will lovely to imagine bursting a blood vessel whilst smashing his keyboard composing his next completely unfounded attack on our club.

Shame about Ake. Akanji or Laporte to step up. Try and keep it tight so we don’t have a mountain to climb at home. The pace down the side will be a problem.
