I think there will be a few changes but not wholesale. If Pep goes too far we'll get a disjointed performance like the one against Southampton in the cup or the second half against Leicester.

I'm fine with Laporte, Mahrez, Foden and Alvarez coming in but that should be it in my opinion. Lewis is the other one that could play but my only concern is whether the crowd at Goodison might affect him. We definitely can't afford to risk the likes of Gomez, Phillips or Palmer though. We've worked too hard to claw Arsenal back to throw it away now by making too many changes.

It depends. Any player that plays 90 mins v Everton will not be at their best 3 days later.

We should put the best available team for this game. Loosing against Everton will put all the season hard work at risk. Loosing will also put some psychological barrier for home Real Madrid game. So, I hope that we will win and put more pressure on Arsenal.

It did seem that tonight’s game was better suited to Mahrez and Everton is better suited to Bernie so i was a bit surprised that Bernie played the full 90 tonight which would seemingly rule him out at the weekend.

In an ideal world we’d rest KDB, Gundo, Rodri and Bernie but I don’t think a midfield of Foden, Mahrez, Phillips and Palmer get us a result at Goodison

I’d love to be able to recall Tommy Doyle from Sheff U to play here, it’d be right up his street and he’d do a much better job than the untrustworthy Phillips

No way that's the team. Players are already tired, they need to be fresh vs Real Madrid.

Hopefully this can get the job done, () obviously means sub if the game is won by the 60th minute-ish. However, 2pm on a Sunday is one of those kickoff times that's sort of an "anything can happen" for me (see Wolves H 19/20)

Just try and get the game won and preferably early as possible.

Put pressure on arsenal who are at home against brighton (who surely wont perform as bad as they did last week). And see what arsenal are made of when the pressure is back on them
