very much doubt Couto is coming back ever, cant even get in a RB in girona most of time, plays RW

Gareth Barry was the same. Not a whisper of our interest, everyone assumed he was off to liverpool who had sold Alonso in preparation, and then boom, there he is
Keegan’s appointment also was similarly out of the blue
 
Considering this summer is expected to be a big one with a few ins and outs, we aren't being linked with loads the way we have in the past.

There's Bellingham which now seems unlikely.

Kovatic, which seems likely and sensible considering Chelsea will be looking to offload players. But a bit underwhelming. Spoiled I know.

Gvardiol links gone very quiet and seems unlikely now since they've said he's not moving?

Any other links seem to be the odd mention on aggregators and then never get mentioned again. Are there any concrete links worth getting excited about? At the end of the day I trust the club at this point, but I do like a bit of giddy transfer speculation.

I agree. Usually around Xmas we have an idea who we are after.

Lots of Bellingham stuff (I still think that’s 50/50).
Quite a fair few Kovacic and Gvardiol rumours as you said.

Overall though I’m quite relaxed and looking forward to the Summer and see what we come up with. Something different going into it with little idea what will happen.

After the Haaland deal we got who we all wanted. Never been happier with a transfer. As for Bellingham, I could take or leave him. Happy either way. So no skin off my nose this Summer what happens. Can just enjoy it.

If I could chose I’d sign Alfonso Davies, Rice, Sané. Add some pace and directness.
I’d sell Phillips. I’d resign Gundogan, Beg Bernardo and have a word with Laporte and tell him to cheer up and follow Akes lead. Don’t want to give up on him yet.
