Fact is neither Gabs or Zin were good enough to start for us - we might have strengthened Arsenal but we haven’t weakened ourselves- time will tell but I’m not worried - class will out they are nowhere near us

I’m a big fan and was disappointed to see him go. I hope he continues to do well in the future. It has to be said, however, that Zinchenko was very lucky to play for us for so long and win so many trophies.

Watched the rags turn them over and watched them squeeze past Liverpool, Fulham, Villa and Leeds - don’t dislike them just don’t think they are in the same league as us hence they buy players from our bench.

I didn’t mean we shouldn’t have sold them, it’s about selling them to Napoli, Atlético, Monaco, Dortmund… not a team who are serious about winning the league we’re trying to win.

Yeah could understand if he was playing midfield at Arsenal but he's keeping Tierney out, what was the point of letting him leave, he would have got plenty of games playing left back for us.

Not massively arsed if a player wants to leave and play regular football so be it, not like he’s gone for money etc. so it was in theory a good deal for both parties and rather get the transfer fee (which was pretty good in this case)

My issue with this one is that we didn’t and still haven’t signed a ‘proper’ first choice left back and Gomez is no better than Zinchenko so we aren’t any better off and could argue worse off.

Zinchenko wasn’t incredible but he was better most of the time than most fans gave him credit for, hard as a full back to play every now and then in such a demanding system hence the occasional errors, Cancelo has been doing the same this season.
