Ahh Worlld In Action when journalism was a noble profession and not populated by self righteous know nowt fuckwit hypocrites! And not to mention the ITV documentary (was it World in Action) about matchday tickets, that investigated United... matchday tickets were being sold from the cafe on the corner for over three times face value (was it Pete the Greek?) and the show basically said the club were actually giving them to the cafe... why sell a ticket for face value when you could sell them for 3x that and split it out, so the club were effectively selling the tickets for twice face value... that got swept under the carpet!
If it’s the dippers, they’re used to playing the likes of the champions of Malta from their early European successes ;-).It looks highly likely now that either the rags or the dips will miss out on next years Champions League. Let's just hold that thought for one moment. In addition, we can look forward to that Thursday night "thrill"; that's when you unexpectedly see them playing the Champions of Malta in front of a hostile crowd of 17K.
Thank you HHSM for everything.
I would argue though, that football was fatally wounded by clubs like United demanding all the gate receipts, and not giving away teams their share. The fatal blow was when they held the Football League to ransom to form the Premier League... Football became a business on that day... they are just pissed off now because it turns out our owners a better at business than them!Saw something on twitter that actually makes sense for once:

It is fascinating, how collectively our journos, or a good portion of the gutter one's, saw City annihilate RM (and in effect the order of football) and immediately took to twitter and their red media to remind everyone about the charges.
Imagine the pain of that night for them, seeing their worst nightmares come true.
None of what they write is pertinent, it won't be remembered. We won't be stripped of titles, we won't be kicked out of the PL, all their pain in vain. What a moment tbh. They hate us anyway, even without the charges they wouldn't accept what city have achieved. The cheating actually increases their pain. I really don't mind city getting a fine. It has a silver lining.
ArsedFirst it was investigation, then its charges, then it'll be how we bought it and got off on a technicality.. never forget that we are scum of the earth.
We'll never get a fair shake from that crowd that is paid to hate us!
Oh well. Just have to keep winning trophies then.First it was investigation, then its charges, then it'll be how we bought it and got off on a technicality.. never forget that we are scum of the earth.

They’re going to use a device for measuring current for an hour?
Why only an hour?
he’s not wrong.
It’ll be glossed over by the haters, just like when they say “115 charges” and you point out that they are based on doctored hacked emails.
The reason we are here is because we put things in emails that we never should have done, and then got hackedHow should we all feel if the premier manage to scrape together a diluted form of guilt? A “pinch” if you may.
How can we accept ‘football rules’ only brought in to stop a certain club while protecting others?
It will never end, city fans will always have to defend the club. When people get jealous and twisted they don’t recognise a fair and unbiased approach.
Financial rules constantly in motion to try and snare city. A moral media operation slick and quick to attack anything that is not the populist approach.
All of this effort to discredit and destroy is based on skin tone and a misguided sense of historical superiority.
Competing is wrong. That’s why we are here. City didn’t listen, refused to accept being an also ran in the rigged football pyramid.
Football fans deserve better. The hyenas in the media do not determine right from wrong. Report the facts, not twist the narrative.
Stand proud and loud blues. All we did wrong is not play their game.
Part of the process sure. It all started when a Muslim man wanted to own a football club. The reason we are here is because we put things in emails that we never should have done, and then got hacked
And an e-mail isn't a smoking gun. When I was dealing with customer complaints we'd have a bunch of reasons/excuses/deflections etc, sometimes we'd admit mistakes were made and pony up, but if we were hacked there would be other e-mails related but not acted upon. The reason we are here is because we put things in emails that we never should have done, and then got hacked
City got to CL final and we're winning the league three times in a row, press run with "but 115 charges".Thread appears to have kicked right off and jumped about 50 pages since I last looked in about a week ago.
Could a kind soul please give me a very succinct update please?
No updates, just more media piss boiling.Thread appears to have kicked right off and jumped about 50 pages since I last looked in about a week ago.

City have lodged a complaint because the premier league guy in charge of trying to fuck us over is a tarquin ****.Thread appears to have kicked right off and jumped about 50 pages since I last looked in about a week ago.
