Then it's time those "powerful" clubs were told to fuck right off... the PL is about 20 clubs, not 3 or 4!
But sometimes another 13 or 14 clubs delight at the broadcast revenue generated by three or four clubs and they back them against City. Expect Newcastle to have every transaction scrutinised if they are in the CL next season.

Not seen it mentioned but 5Live this morning were trying to make out that the reaction to the title win was subdued and that City fans felt it was clouded by the PL charges.

Firstly, fook right off telling me what I'm thinking or feeling.

Secondly anyone who thinks that celebration was subdued just wasn't there.

The whole report screamed Pre-Written Agenda.

Even by the standards of the gutter this is low......

Manchester City are best of all time and nobody gives a f***; take note, Premier League

Yep, this is the new narrative now, nobody supposedly cares. Is this why Liverpool fans are the angriest and bitterest of the lot now attacking City fans at will every time we now meet, attacking team coaches, gobbing at pep etc. Utd not far behind, don't fucking care, pull the other one John Nicholson you bitter bastard

And this is precisely the reason why the Government is pushing strongly to take regulatory powers away from the Premier League and that's why City are the only club supporting that move. The Premier League has shown it is unfit for purpose with its regulatory function. Someone high up at the PL is still leaking confidential information about the discussions taking place between our lawyers and those at the PL. That story about City challenging the entire process (with the irrelevant mischief-making angle about Rosen being an Arsenal fan) didn't make its way to the Times newspaper by accident. You can be sure it didn't come from either of the legal teams (who have signed Non Disclosure Agreements) and no one at City would have leaked it to take the gloss off our Real Madrid victory. Our enemies just can help themselves can they?
Any lawyer associated with this will not have had to sign an NDA (although it’s possible they will have) as everything of significance will be legally privileged and to breach that, especially to the press, is career over time.

He’s just made it up to set a narrative that we are robotic in our manner, building to the notion that we are not a real club and that our fans are all plastic.

It’s a bit of that. Also, the media have manifested this notion that anything but a treble is failure. I think as fans we’ve know for a few weeks now that the league was all but fine. Nerves come from a final against our rancid neighbours and a CL final.

I’ve just rewatched the post match from yesterday, and the Sky team were perhaps even over egging the celebrations. Saying this one seemed to mean even more..

Liew is an oddball..

John Nicholson (JNIAC) always plays to the crowd while trying to appear to say something revolutionary while actually being totally predictable.

He's just a bitter bellend. Not even necessarily about City, I think he has a problem with life in general, but he's certainly happy to take aim at us as we're successful.

Thanks for correcting that. I agree that no lawyer in this situation would blab to the press as he would be finished if he did. I think the leak could only have come from senior management at the PL blabbing to directors of LFC or MUFC who then spoke to one of their media pals. Times sport have very strong sources at LFC so my money is on them. It could also be Levy. This will all help City’s case as it did with UEFA.

Had talkshite on in the car for 10 minutes(hardly bother these days) and that fat stuttering Spurs **** Danny Kelly was crying some fat salty tears.

I suspect the leaks are coming from one of the protagonist clubs

I don’t remember any journalists stridently reporting that if the Coolmore 99 questions weren’t satisfactorily answered (and they were, in fact, never answered at all) that Ferguson’s legacy would even be tainted, never mind ruined.

So on the one hand, we have some allegations of City as a club breaking financial rules, which essentially predate our manager’s time at the club, which relate to matters at board and shareholder level - and these fucking nonces are trying to suggest that in some way it will tarnish the results on the pitch this season, following a gap of 5-14 years from the matters alleged, of which there is not a single suggestion that Pep or the players are connected in any way to those allegations.

Yet on the other hand, not one of these spineless fucking cunts dared suggest that those 99 questions, which clearly implied Ferguson had taken backhanders (and a number of United signings around that time were highly questionable ) made by two significant shareholders in that club at the time, which still remain wholly unanswered to this day, would in any way tarnish Ferguson’s legacy, despite the much stronger nexus between him, the team he built, and the strongly implied allegations of financial impropriety.

Where were all the journalist back then giving it the Billy Big Bollocks?

Absolute fucking spineless, hypocritical nonce cunts.
