Said previously I thought we would go and yet again we have escaped. Play with fire too much and eventually you get burnt. If we are in this position again next year we will go.

You laugh but I know of 2 farmers round here who still drive ratty 4traks and I am sure Daihatsu stopped selling them about 20 years ago. Well maintained older cars are great - simple mechanicals and keep on top of the rust and you can run one forever

Next season. I can see Everton finally getting relegated if they don't get better players in. Their lack off goals has been a big problem for them this season. They might defend better than most struggling teams but don't score enough.

I can see a relegation battle with Sheffield United/Bournemouth and maybe Forest next season. Luton will probably break Derbys record off being the worst premier league team ever.
