Pep is really smart, his real top priority is the CL trophy. He doesn't want to risk injury to top players in the FA Cup, least important of the three, so for the last two games he's fielded bench players and academy lads in order to gauge if they, themselves could beat the Rags. By now he will have his answer.

If there is even a slight concern with De Bruyne, Dias and Grealish by Wedneaday/ Thursday I think Pep leaves them in Manchester.

Can see those rag cnuts getting very frustrated in the last 15 minutes and resorting to the Cork door to door tarmac salesman mentality trying to injure players intentionally to prevent their treble being in jeopardy.

The CL might be the main prize, but Pep gives the impression that he really wants the treble

Dreading this one. I think if we win this one, we win the treble - our confidence will be as sky high as can possibly be.

I'd love to absolutely batter the fuckers but I can't see it. I'd take a scraped 1-0, genuinely. I think they have the ability to hurt us with their pace and ability to carry the ball. But I think our midfield will be too strong for them.

Looking forward to Rodri putting his mentality hat on and making sure he bullies Casemiro.

Its the rat that is their main threat, not so much his excellent ability on the ball but his shithousery and his cheating......he is brilliant at getting in the ref's head and influencing a game.

That **** Rashford is moulded from similar stuff.

Our game is far superior,we just need to get into our normal groove,be switched on,stay composed, and hope for a strong ref.

We have two massive games to play to equal history so everyone in the team Knock or not will want to be both pitches next two weeks .

Missing kdb will be massive for us if he doesn’t start

I feel like the only decisions are Ake/Akanji & Phil/Bernardo.

The rest pretty much picks itself I imagine.
The GK position is an issue. It really depends on what the agreement was with Ortega when he signed. If Pep told him he would play in domestic cup finals then I doubt he will go back on his word.

I think the games that Ortega played recently were less about giving Ederson a rest, more about getting Ortega prepared for next week

Agreed

IMO Ortega starts

Ortega has to 100% start - not only has he deserved it this season, remember the last time we swapped keepers for a cup final? Bobby Manc burning his last bridge - and unsuccessfully!

You’re right his top priority is the CL and if this was earlier on in the season it would show in his selections, Pep knows though that the treble is well on here and I just think he will go full strength in both and that would suit me

No chance Palmer, Phillips or Gomez get on the pitch in either unless we’re 4-0 up

Put any 11 out from the rest of the squad and it’s basically full strength

If the United players are half as scared as their fans about this game they will crumble and we will fuckin murder them
Like a lot are saying an early goal would be perfect

COME ON CITY
