As long as the Elizabethan line is running I'm good (Hotel is in Hayes and Harlington), otherwise it's a bus.

Just had a look on TFL website and London Overground is running on Saturday.
I should have looked at that first!

When I found out about the Saturday strike I decided to travel from Edinburgh on the Friday and stay with my son in South London. Then I found out that there was another rail strike on the Friday, I ended up booking flights from Edinburgh.

It was no use flying to Gatwick, Stansted, etc. as it would still require a train to get to London, so I booked to Heathrow.

I will still have the issue of getting from Sydenham to Wembley. Does anyone know if the London Overground is affected?

The Elizabeth line is running. I've just checked.

"GWR: Saturday 3 June, no stopping trains between Paddington and Reading, or Greenford, Windsor, Marlow and Henley branch services.

"A very limited service operates between Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads, non-stop between Paddington and Reading.

"Elizabeth line trains operate as normal."

Thanks mate, 2 of us heading down about 6.30am then. Looking forward to meeting other blues down there and then we will probably shoot off and meet friends who are getting coaches down to the ground.
