PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As frustrating as this is for City fans everywhere I think we pick our battles well. There’s no need currently to go after this clown as in reality, with the exception of fans of the red clubs I don’t believe these types of articles have much influence on the general football supporting independent reader.
That's what deloony wants, he wants the headlines and his name mentioned by the men in suits.
The very fact we ignore the nerd is more damaging to him as he's like a little doggy trying to bark and be heard, we're just letting him tie himself up in knots and he's doing a great job so far.
I bet khaldoon has never even heard of him or read one word of his ramblings and that to a journalist, especially deloony trying to get heard, will be soul destroying.
As you were deloony.

Delaney writing for a paper few read in a style that reeks of hypocrisy and pandering to the reds masses gives the game away in his latest article on the matter

Without comment he states that there will be “a mutiny” if City are exonerated. So whatever we are damned. (A proper journalist would be alarmed at this but some don’t have any integrity).

Conclusion.

It’s never been about financial fair play or justice. It’s a cartel trying to rig the competition.

So why/how are large numbers of fans of clubs other than City convinced we have cheated? The drip drip effect of media lies?
Not saying we should sue, quite different question. We could, of course, investigate these clowns and, after due warning, spread info that ruins them; they are bound to have skeletons in the cupboard. Alls fair etc.

If a lie is repeated often enough people start to believe it to be the truth.

Could City sue the gang of 8 for that letter begging cas to find us guilty ?

Could City have sued UEFA for the false ban and charges ?

Could City sue the premier league once cleared of these made up charges ?

If City had evidence that this was lead by certain clubs could City sue them ?

It's ok being cleared but we should than take action against our accusers
We are.

In other ways. Remember Khaldoon and his wording with regards to the clubs that attacked city a few years ago?

It's all about the long game.

Quite amused by the Delaney article tbh. It's a long form essay of him trying to interpret the Liverpool owners bitching to him that the league is struggling to draw moral boundaries in capitalism and investment that sufficiently punish City while also allowing them.
Fixed that for you.

Everton should be shitting themselves and rightly so in my opinion, if what said is true about them about their losses over the three year period then they could seriously be in the shite-funny how the story has been swept under the carpet isn't it?
It's hardly been swept under the carpet, the investigation is ongoing.

Of course it doesn't get repeated ad nauseum as ours is but then it's Everton vs Manchester City, in terms of generating clicks there is no contest online.

The Premier League was set up to protect the status quo and strengthen the bigger clubs. The political base at the Premier League is also geared up to protect the original cartel. This is the same for the Chumps League following the creation of the G14. FFP is a further attempt to curtail new investment into the game and stop the nouveau riche from getting a slice of the action. In our case its failed spectacularly and that is why the previous behaviour of UEFA and more recently the PL smacks of desperation. The horse has already bolted and the cartel clubs have clearly put pressure on both organisations to do something. It's almost like an episode of Dastardly and Muttley. Stop the pigeon! This is not about fairness and never was. This is all about politics and creating barriers to entry to protect the incumbents. Come on City! We are winning this battle.

Why doesnt a club take either to court for preventing fair trade ?

Surely investing in you company isnt illegal

I'm no lawyer, but certainly I have seen the argument in the press that ffp could be a contravention of eu competition laws. No doubt the lawyers on Bluemoon will have an opinion.

Useful article here.

If it's in the interest of the wider sport and implemented equitably then it is OK, I think. ESM and all that. If it can be shown to be protectionist and inequitable then it could have some problems. Is there anyone brave enough to try it?

With Liverpool and Tottenham now locked outside the top 4 for a decade without massive investment, expect the case to die away pretty quickly….

Arsenal are already back in ‘the club’ and the Qataris will be desperate to avoid harder rules on how much money they can plow in.

As said several months back, the charges were to satisfy the old guard, but circumstance has led to the charges they wanted shooting off their own feet, as those most desperate to limit spending are now most desperate to be able to spend.
Why can’t Liverpool make top 4 again, they are better than MU and Chelsea if they get a new midfield.

totally agree with you, but the rules are the rules no matter how absurd they are, what frustrates me the most is the lack of column inches Everton get about it, but they aren't or haven't upset the apple cart have they like us?
The lack of media coverage about Everton is probably because of united’s losses over the last 3 seasons.
That’s a can of worms they don’t want to open.
£230m losses, yeah Everton have lost more, but you either enforce it or you don’t.
“Everton have lost more” just doesn’t wash.
