You can brush the carpet as you go

I have a few pairs of adidas originals. But they're not a patch on quality to my Air forces. I've had my current AF1 2 years and they're still in daily use. I had a pair of Gazelles, used them for 3 months and the suede had all gone and they looked shite.

The Adidas ones look great, but that's about it.

I quite like retro style trainers in general but couldn't give a fuck about the limited edition special colour blah blah blah that some people obsess over.

The Adidas outlet in Stockport always has some nice looking ones.

new to this thread so it's probably already been said...

adi das
adi is short for adolf
das is short for dassler.
adolf dassler was a nazi shoemaker.

his elder brother, rudolf dassler, fell out with him
he opened a shoe shop across the road called puma.

i expect this has already been posted too,
but it begs the question of pronunciation..

did anyone else go to the run dmc gigs at the apollo in the 80's?

iirc
first time supported by beastie boys,
second time by public enemy and derek b.
