Had to create a temporary account to send heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you city fans , fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved , always been amongst the very best of fans , no one could ever accuse you's of glory hunting , as a fan base you lot certainly done your time , loved going to main road even if it ended up with me getting chased down them ginnells , been a great week to be an hammer as well and loads of your lot were amongst the first to congragulate us on social media , never met a city fan I didn't find an affinity with , one the two nervy moments tonight but you always had the class , absolutely delighted for you all ⚒

I wasn't in Istanbul, watched in a bar in Corfu, I and the other City fans that were in there, I think were slightly overawed. After the last few weeks I think we are running on fumes and it will take a little time for the enormity of the feat to sink in.

Inzaghi is not a magician who can bless his players with more technique.
He did what he could with what he had at his disposal .... and, with our players (who, as you rightly mentioned too, don't have so much quality on the ball), playing a game like this against City is, in my opinion, a tactical masterclass.
All of the players on your bench would easily be starters for Inter (with the exception of the goalie).

I've been knocking the ale on the head the last few weeks and I thought I'd carry it on tonight so I could remember us winning it. At half time I wished i was pissed so I could forget that first 45. Now, 2 hours later the lagers and Glenmorangie are in full flow
Job done.
Now it's time for those reprobate visiting fans to deflate those European cups....CHAMPIONS of Europe, i think wel'll sing that....
