What time are Bob and Terry getting home then?I’m forced into silence! My sons not knowing it was CL final night when they booked the tickets 12months ago were at the Etihad tonight watching The Weekend! They’ve been led out of the stadium with AirPods on highest level & eyes closed to the car by their partners. Driven home under a blanket & are watching the whole bloody 97mins of torture as live!! Couldn’t write it! Can’t wait to celebrate with them in about 75mins!!
Had to create a temporary account to send heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you city fans , fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved , always been amongst the very best of fans , no one could ever accuse you's of glory hunting , as a fan base you lot certainly done your time , loved going to main road even if it ended up with me getting chased down them ginnells , been a great week to be an hammer as well and loads of your lot were amongst the first to congragulate us on social media , never met a city fan I didn't find an affinity with , one the two nervy moments tonight but you always had the class , absolutely delighted for you all ⚒European Champions.
Treble winners.
The greatest team this country has ever seen.
My nerves are fucked.
Rodri has scored 2 of the most important goals in our history by putting a ball in a gap barely wider than the ball
Ederson as well
We’re just ratttling legends off left right and centre
Rodri fuckinell, he'd shit 007 he's that good.Rodri has scored 2 of the most important goals in our history by putting a ball in a gap barely wider than the ball
Ederson as well
We’re just ratttling legends off left right and centre
BT said Rodri’s goal was the most important goal ever, but you and I and all the Blues that were there that day know that accolade belongs to Paul Dickov’s goal vs Gillingham. We got there. It's been a long journey filled with joy and despair. Is this the same lifetime that we were 2-0 down against Gillingham? If Hollywood made a movie with this plot it would be ridiculed as fantasy.
Thanks, Pep, the Sheikh, the players, the fans and (most of) the posters on here.
I wasn't in Istanbul, watched in a bar in Corfu, I and the other City fans that were in there, I think were slightly overawed. After the last few weeks I think we are running on fumes and it will take a little time for the enormity of the feat to sink in.Bizarrely, I thought the fans were very subdued after the final whistle. Unlike last week.
Your team played well and, on another night May have won….congratulations, excellent performance!Hey, I am not here to fight!
I came here to congratulate!
And yes, when our player kicked it straight at the keeper in front of him on the left side (instead of crossing it in). That was before Rodri's goal.
Yes, we don't have that much quality on the ball, but wasn't that already kind of known?
Inzaghi is not a magician who can bless his players with more technique.
He did what he could with what he had at his disposal .... and, with our players (who, as you rightly mentioned too, don't have so much quality on the ball), playing a game like this against City is, in my opinion, a tactical masterclass.
All of the players on your bench would easily be starters for Inter (with the exception of the goalie).
Not arfNo, you can't.
;-)
you are the most negative twat on this forum by some distance.I've got a horrible feeling Pep might call it a day earlier than any of us might have expected. I think this was the trophy he was waiting for
