Now it's happened I'll say what I know... route will start at Deansgate and go the full length to marks and spencers, then route round to finish China town, stage set up near Oxford Road / Portland Street, large show with a musical act...

Well the morning after the night before. City fly back from Istanbul today, if you can make the parade tomorrow I urge you to do so. Every single one of us needs to attend this historic occasion and show strength in numbers for this fantastic achievement. Come on blues!

“The squad will travel back to Manchester on Sunday afternoon, flying on a unique Club-liveried Etihad Airways Boeing 797-9 Dreamliner,” read a statement.

“They will then celebrate the historic achievement with an open-top bus parade through Manchester City Centre on Monday 12 June.


“Guardiola, his players and his backroom staff will depart from Tonman Street, Deansgate, at approximately 6:30pm and travel to St Mary’s Gate. The parade will then travel through Cross Street and Kings Street, before finishing on Princess Street where a live stage show will take place.”

I work in town, supposed to finish at 6.30 but I am sure I will be able to get out about 5.30 if I really plead. Crowds will be knee deep by then but a fleeting glimpse is all I will need.
