It'd be a quick argument where anyone saying he was our best player that season would be wrong.

Never once won city player of the month. Didn't win city player of the year. Someone had to play the minutes at left back. You look at the minutes. I'll look at the quality of the minutes.

He also played a large number of games at right back as well. He wouldn’t have racked up those minutes under Guardiola if he hadn’t been performing consistently well.

Most interceptions/tackles/aerials won and average distance covered and he was in FIFA's best XI

When he felt like it. Similar to Leroy in that respect. Little wonder there wasn't a problem with either leaving. No malice meant to either but they lacked the emotional commitment which sets our squads apart.

Just like you I watched the games. He didn't ever perform consistently well. In fact, consistency was his problem. He was either the dogs bollocks or just bollocks. And that was representative of his whole tenure at City. Anyway, like you said, agree to disagree.

6 games for us in the CL this season, 377 minutes, and 4 assists.
4 games for Bayern in the CL this season, 72 minutes against us.

I would imagine he'll get a Premier League medal, so it would be churlish to deny him a Champions League medal were he to request it. That said, we seem to have had an enormous backroom staff in Istanbul, a veritable Sultan's retinue, so if they are also to get medals from the allotted 40, then Sulky Cancelo may just have to sulk.

The club can request more medals are made, at their own expense.

I would expect them to get enough for absolutely everyone. Players, coaches, dinner ladies.
