Arsenal tells West Ham they'll not enter into a bidding war.
 
If we do sign him, and even if we don't, its mad in a way how Pep is evolving this team.
Big tall strong players in all positions.
Who would have ever thought Pep Guardiola would play 4 centre halves in defence, famed for his skillful agile and light attacking full backs.
Even our wingers aren't pacey or nippy like they used to be.

I agree. This does sound like West Ham trying to push Arsenal. They've been playing this game via the media for months on end.

Txiki wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't have the specifics of every deal thats going on. West Ham of course will interpret it as genuine interest but Txiki will also just be doing his homework and reporting back to Pep.
