That would mean giving up close to 100m, if going by the figures reported. If he does, fair play to him. If he doesn't, who could argue it.

I think the early movers will do best financially out of anyone who goes to Saudi. They need credibility so they’ll pay more now just to get names. If they establish a successful league then they won’t need to pay as ridiculously well.

I think that may be a factor for Mahrez, he may “only” get a great salary in 2 years whereas now he gets a preposterous wage.
