How can it hurt them? They finished miles behind City in the league. They didn’t compete in the Champions league, the only trophy they were in direct competition with City in was the fa cup. They produced a cowardly performance in that game and never deserved to win that game. Perhaps they should focus on Arsenal who are much further ahead in terms of competing.

The amount of reporting that Tent Peg had a great season winning the League Cup and returning them to Europe's Premier competition...

Solskjaer got them top four and also a Europa League final.

Since our rise from York to Istanbul -:) we have proceeded to take everything from them over the last 10 plus season and finally finished the cunts off this season. Owners who fleece the club to pay off debts for shopping malls Is the only small ray of light that remains.

It’s amazing that their zenith (treble) and our nadir (losing to York) occurred within a few months of each other.

Since then, with a few exceptions, such as their second Champions League win and our relegation in 2000, our paths have taken completely opposite directions.

And now, they are years behind us and we have no intention of taking our foot off the gas. The club has a strategy in place that ensures a continuity that few other clubs boast, whereas they give the impression that are a rudderless monstrosity.

But I thought we weren't their proper rivals. They have claimed that for years though it has always been notable that their fans sing more songs about us than anyone else and work themselves into a hysterical state when we play them at the swamp. These days they can't stop thinking about City.

Oh yes, and they are irrelevant anyway. What a season last one was, can now actually enjoy it once the DVDs come out and/or the Amazon Prime documentary.

Made my night that did!. I hope it hurts them more than they hurt me back in 1999!.

Stupid cartoons in the paper with one being two crying Bayern fans, Basil Fawlty marching and the caption "Please Mr Fawlty, don't mention the score!". The S*n that was in and I hope the cartoonist is just as hurt today, as well as the neighbour who set the fireworks off afters.

There was one in a posh paper of the Govan Pisscan playing with string puppets of rival managers.

How I am loving their decline because of all this, as well as the just mentioned's arrogant "Not in my lifetime". Well it did and he hated it, so stayed another year and we have knocked all his achievements for three (or six by the end of the year if we win the Shield, Super Cup and World Club Cup).
