Actually think Mason Mount would be a good fit.
You answered your own question he makes us twice as good as we would be near impossible to break down. For 100m does he make us that much better?
We already have the best DM in the world
Who knows what Pep has up his sleeve if he’s going for him, no doubt he’ll fit him into the team, just don’t think he’s worth that
You'll catch a few with thatActually think Mason Mount would be a good fit.
We are in the race, but from what I’m told things are no where near as close as what’s being reportedAre city actually legitimately interested tho or is it just West Ham trying to get a better offer from Arsenal?
At the expense of a creative player thoughYou answered your own question he makes us twice as good as we would be near impossible to break down.
You'll catch a few speaking straight facts on this board. "Sky is blue on a clear day you say? Fuck off!"You'll catch a few with that
That’s enough of internet for you. Log offActually think Mason Mount would be a good fit.
I don’t think he’d be better than Stones in that position, if we were to spend £100 mill on him it must be because Pep thinks he can play in a position we haven’t seen him play before, probably more box to box. I can’t see it myself but if Pep can then I’m all for it.
Oo errMy balls are sweaty today.
One of my all-time favourite SNL sketches.
:) :) Master of nothing updates. Guess we see our bid tomorrowAlright fuck Romano. I understand the outrage now
I am the same. Although I wouldn't say I was chuffed to get him. I would be happy we got a player valued by the league, but I would put him in the Calvin Phillips group that needs to prove he can get to Peps level.I’m pretty relaxed about this tbh. Will be chuffed if we get him, but not gutted if we don’t either. As City fans we should know by now to trust the process. If it’s not Rice, it’ll be someone else similarly good. They don’t get many transfers wrong.
I say this all the time. If top players only ever moved to the existing winners, how did Man United lose their dominance form the 1990's and early 2000's?I think one or two posters are coming across as being a bit entitled here.
Absolutely nothing wrong with Rice wanting to stay in London.
Also Arsenal do have a bit of pull albeit they are not treble winners.
12 years ago we sold a plan to several very good players despite having won fuck all for decades. They could have gone elsewhere but became legends of our club.
If Rice comes to us and we continue to win things he will be in a long line of latter-day heroes.
If he goes to Arsenal and wins the League he'll be a legend there.
Except for the fact we stood by him despite finishing 8th consecutively. Now the rebuild is in its infancy, and we bin him after three months should our start of the season not go as expected?Yeah that's a really stupid argument, arteta has got 3 months tops if they start the season how they ended the last one with those fickle mard arses.
