Read some of the pretentious cunts, think it was the Guardian, said “they shouldn’t have a tribute band ion as headliners, won’t make the same mistake next year”

It was just a joyous occasion, 80’s/90’s meets the 2020’s with an audience of young to old, that was incredible.

The pretentious wankers salivate over acts that don’t appeal to the mainstream, there’s a reason for that, they’re usually niche and boring to your average Joe, intellect doesn’t equate to great unadulterated music.

He signed a 2 album deal with Columbia records. Recorded an album last year and one this year.
Columbia refuse to release both! Said it doesn't fit in with their current roster.... so they just sit on the tapes and won't let him do anything with them

Probably waiting for the “posthumous” sales surge but won’t happen shortly as he and JFM are as healthy as rock stars come. Hope to see them in a reunion especially with Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce, the latter says sadly it will never happen, :-(

That is not wholey corrrect though

He wrote bonfire, lauded it as his best LP ever on his site and offered it to any label, capitol bought the rights recorded it, then after Mylie cyrus asked to be removed from it Columbia blocked relase until their artist backing vocals were removed.

this left capitol with no option than to delay, morrissey had a tantrum as usual, during which he was also asked to tone down suppprt of right wing british groups whose merchandise he had worn.
Another hissy fit followed and he quit capitol who own the full rights to the LP he flogged off, they cannot re-record I am Veronica so have put the album on hold, leading to some conspiracy theory rant off the nut job with a sam smith is a satanist side rant added.



He is still performing all the songs from it live and has a new album ready but no label who he is signed withbto produce it, probably because he is a tit.

I know you love him but come on this is all of his own making, because he seeems to want to get into an arguement with anyone and everyone the contrary ****.

The Miley Cirus thing was more to do with her record label refusing to have her recording material (even backing vocals) on another label. If M hadn't gone shouting about her being on It he'd have got away with it.

The media started their usual witch hunt regarding the words to Bonfire of Teenagers and hey presto cancel culture strikes again

He has just announced a 40 yrs tour, his tour of the UK has sold well enough and every song off Bonfire is free for him to sing, somethimg he has been doing

nothing has been cancelled, it is his own fault he sold full rights to it's recording and tapes, but not performance.

He as been in the business long enough to know about ownership rights not to have got into this situation.


I have more sympathy for the likes of (moving the topic back to glasto) Rina Sawayama who took last night to jave a dig at that nob Healey from 1975 even though her content is controlled by him because he part owns the label she is signed to


She did a great set btw also
