Not really the thread for it, but it's not a problem with the Twitter platform. There is a societal issue with the way people behave anonymously on the internet compared to how they behave in real life. For example, we have a small internet business and when a customer doesn't like something it's all insults and ridiculous language on Facebook. When my wife calls them, it's always sweetness and light and easy resolution. It's a bizarre phenomenon.

You can see it on here as well. At least I hope that is what it is, otherwise we have some real arseholes on here.

I'd like to think once City are cleared of the PL witch hunt charges, City will then go after every click-bait journalist, their employers, and pundits who have accused City of cheating over the last 15 years. I appreciate it's a very long list, so let's start at the top with the usual suspects. I don't have to name them. We all know who they are.

She got the England manager to be finished. He wasn't picking her so must be a racist. Funnily enough none of the next managers selected her either

I know people find it boring but I’ll continue to pull people up when they repeat this lie.

Mark Sampson wasn’t accused of being racist because he wasn’t picking anyone. He was accused and found guilty by an independent barrister of making racist comments to two players.

‘She’ didn’t get the England manager to be finished. He was finished because it came to light he’d been shagging one of his young players in a previous job at Bristol Academy.

Maybe without Eni having the £multi-billion BBC communications empire behind here. Sampson wouldn’t have been fired. Maybe he deserved the boot.

There was a smear campaign with the BBC adding extra titbits each day. It was a death by a thousand cuts approach.
