It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I'm an atheist, but worked for years in an area with lots of evangelical Christians. You've got to remember that if they've been brought up in that culture, then many of the significant adults in their lives, starting with their parents, will have been preaching this as totally normal since birth.

I worked with plenty of very, very intelligent people who would argue about things like evolution, and despite having grown up a Catholic, I was surprised about just how much it's all intertwined with day to day life, and how important spreading the word is (I suppose the clue is in the title). At one point, I think I had at least a dozen people praying for my soul :)

It's such a huge part of life, and I'd argue a little bit cultish, so I'd be wary of judging anyone that is relatively young for still being in the thrall of that brand of religion.
I too was brought up ' in the church' but as a official foc, have seen and experienced lots of stuff in the last few years, to doubt the existence.
The biggest argument against it is, how the f**k did 'he' allow the rags to win so much! That is, unforgivable!

So our highly experienced and globally best in class transfer team, with all the available information and data at their fingertips, should stop doing buyback deals because *checks notes* walker_is_faster on Bluemoon thinks they’re bullshit and doesn’t like them?
Ok
Show me a prove that buybacks are good.
It's better to get higher fee and higher percentage sell-on clause.

One name suspiciously absent from that list of "unsellable stars"...

Yeah, problem is, they're not a buying club either. They sit there with their begging bowl and broken promises and contracts and trade on their past, with their slap and lipstick on.
(Read that back, and it might be a tad ott, but you get my drift)

I'm still here!!!!!

Still figuring Twitter thing out, but so many friends and colleagues have been on at me to say I could maybe earn money from it at some point, so dipping my toe.

Also had some good advice from posters on here about exposing myself to some who may try to cause me strife, but I will either block or ignore.

From a professional point of view, my career is changing, so some people might be best ignoring me too, for their own reputations.
I fucking knew it..TH a toe dipper..been leading us astray for years..shame on you ;-)

Callum Doyle is the one to make it at City for me. I can see him wanting a bit more stability though and with Leicester looking the most likely to come straight back up I don't begrudge the move for him, if it happens.

No room for him at the moment sell him for 10m and include a sell on clause of 25%

My wife is a SEN teacher and can see at first hand how much the kids and their families love her.

I'm going in to inner-city secondary schools, so my eyes may be wide open, but still stealing myself for some very difficult situations.

Not a single story I wrote in 30 years has changed somebody's life. Unless we count getting Roy Keane a £300k fine!
My wife is a clynical psychologist, when she was on placement she had a teenage girl run out of a session, she ran after her and stopped her from jumping off a motorway bridge. You will have ups and downs but the rewards off helping people will be as fulfilling as it gets.

Good luck tolm

Since he has just spent a season at Girona, surely he is for us?
Does anyone know anything about this? He does play RW/LW...

edit: Looking at his stats, I would rather give Gomez a chance as a RW/LW, where he has been playing for U-21 Spain, and brilliantly so.

Amazing news mate and i think what you are doing is truly special. My daughter has down syndrome and a serious heart condition etc but goes into main stream primary school with a one to one support carer and we would be lost without him seriously! she currently has gone to nearly dying when born to little miss sassy like this:

Incredible. She is a superstar. But so are you, mate. You come across as a wonderful human being. The transfer forum wouldn't be the same without you, that's for sure!
