As said a few weeks ago when this first came out, it feels pretty nailed on that Qatar will ‘sell’ him to themselves once their United takeover is finalised.

I appreciate the thought only just occurred to you - given that, I’d suggest mulling it over a bit longer next time.The thought just occurred to me that what if he made an unexpected move for say 120m so psg could avoid the going for free.

He leaves for free or he resigns… zero chance PSG accept £50/60 offers! They turned down €200m when he had 6 months left. He will move to Madrid at the end of his contract unless he extorts even more money out of PSG! I've always wondered why players don't do this. If you want to leave, just simply state early that you are happy to finish out your contract but have no intention of signing a new Contract. Teams will immediately put you on the block if you are a star.Every team interested will just wait until deadline day and try their hand with £50/£60m offers.
