Kian Breckin | On loan at Wycombe

We have him under contract now but fear we will lose him next summer if he doesn't get some midfield pathway.

Similar with Lavia, we might agree a decent money sale if it includes a buyback.

Seems to be our new M.O to tell our kids we rate you but leave a future marker down.

Southampton and Chelsea always watching him.
How good is he ? Better than latvia?
Hope to see him in the cup games

I've watched him a few times this season and two games stood out. Derby and Grimsby away.

In those matches he proved he can already compete with men and is good enough to be playing league football.

Hopefully he'll try a loan before deciding to go anywhere permanently. Will make us a few quid in the very least.

Probably £10m next summer. As you say, he's ready to be playing league football and he would have already made the first team with us if played anywhere else but midfield.

Southampton obviously know all about him and doubt we would agree to Chelsea.

Bellingham coming in just adds to the dilemma.

Presumably decisions like this are not just about who is in front of him but also who is coming from behind in the same position in the u18s . What decision is made will also be influenced by how highly the club rate players like Nico O Reilly. And what pathway is envisioned for him.

I wouldn’t say he’s a KDB type player as he doesn’t really get many assists or goals. He’s just a tidy player, good at breaking play up and keeping possession.

Decent player, reminds me a bit of Fiorini. He isn’t getting anywhere near our first team though unfortunately

Not a bad club to join. I don't think they will be contenders for automatic promotion but could be in with a chance of the play-offs.

What a peculiar choice of club for him, their style of football has long been somewhat ‘agricultural’ to say the very least
Still, playing against grown men in a tough league should be good for his development and hopefully should get plenty of game time at that level

Im always torn when it comes to loans, we cry out a team that plays 'passing, possession' football but we know they can do that. Can we see if they can add what they don't have when styles change etc. or keep them in a similar system as much as possible.

really do wonder how the team/player decide on stuff like this.

Breckin's footballing ability is not an issue,so i suspect this move might be more about the experience of playing in an environment, and amongst a few hackers, that is unnatural to him.

Aye that’s fair enough, though he might get more game time at a team that plays better football.
Tbf the new manager might want to play better stuff than Ainsworth
