Spurs Thread - 2023/24

They’ll struggle to get top 6. The new boss won’t last 2 years.

I meant to post this before, but with Kyle winning the Treble, that’s three more trophies won by ex-Spurs players since the club last had its hands on some meaningful silverware.

I do like the way the new manager is publicly having to almost reinterview for his job with Kane. Great to know kane is still in charge, bigger than his club, and (assuming he stays) will continue to only turn up when he feels like it. Spursy spurs.

Ange Post talks a good game but they’ll still be shit and end up about 8th.

I actually feel a bit sorry for him - seems a decent bloke.
Never underestimate Ange. Everyone who has has had their balls parted. Spurs is a big ask though, but, I won’t be surprised if they do well. Top 4. Maybe too much first year, but never say never with the big Aussie bastard.

I think flogging kane to bayern would be a blessing for him in terms of moulding a team - assuming levy doesn't just pocket the cash

One thing about Ange he will set out his stall and let him decide. if Kane starts he will be gone. Ange runs the show and if you think you’re somehow excempt from that, good luck.

Harry Kane hot ones running commentary (I assume English people can't handle spicy food so I'm not expecting much)

1- He's already struggling with the weakest sauce, this isn't going to go well
2- He said it's like a curry and that it's not too bad
3- He's hurting a bit, most people don't complain until the 5-6 range
4- I'm starting to think the spiciest thing he's ever eaten is sugar. He's on to drinking milk now. Actually seems like a nice guy, I'd rather hate him tbh.
5- He's talking about how he trained with only his left foot for three months. He's coping but obviously feeling some pain.
6- Nose is running now, he's in for a rude awakening at #8. Talking about US media vs UK media
7- This one isn't bothering him any more than #6, back to the milk. Talking about a set piece against Panama in the WC when Stones scored (he didn't say his name)
8- This is the hottest sauce in the world and he is actually handling it way better than I thought. Gordon Ramsay acted like a little bitch when he had it. Asked about his favorite chant and it's "He's one of our own" (I'm assuming he's a Foden fan). Eyes are really watering now...
9- After #8 he's through the worst of it, doing well. He's talking about working the refs.
10- The last dab is the tradition and he's put on a fair amount. I gotta say I'm shocked after the way he acted in the beginning. He's asking him to define some football terms. (Fox in the box, dead ball specialist, howler)

He's ending talking about his foundation and helping people with mental health issues. Overall he did a good job.
